About Me

My photo
Lex
My name is Alexandra (Alex) Coppe, I was born in France of French and German descent, moved to the US in 2007 to complete my PhD at the University of Florida. I graduated about a year ago, worked in DC for a while and am now living with my boy friend, Matt, and my two whippets, Ariel and Trysta, in Philadelphia. I have been a foodie for as long as I can remember, it's a family thing I think. I always enjoyed cooking but started doing it more seriously once I got to grad school and started missing French/German food and my roots. I have been staying at home as an unemployed mechanical engineer for over 6 months now. To avoid going completely crazy I have spent a lot more time cooking and browsing cooking blogs. This is how the crazy idea of having my own cooking blog sprouted with some help from my best friend. So here I am, what you will find here is recipes that I collected, created, modified.
